Terms and Conditions.
This is an English translation of our German legal information. The contract language is German. Mandatory consumer and data-protection rights remain unaffected.
1. Seller and Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to orders placed through the MagfedSchmiede online shop with 3D-Druck Alexander Christl, Prälatenweg 3, 96117 Memmelsdorf, Germany, email: info@magfedschmiede.de (referred to as “we” or “us”). They apply to consumers within the meaning of section 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB) and businesses within the meaning of section 14 BGB. Conflicting terms apply only if we expressly agree to them.
2. Products and Formation of the Contract
Our range mainly consists of 3D-printed accessories and spare parts. Product photographs may differ slightly from the finished item due to the material or manufacturing process; the characteristics agreed for the product are decisive.
Product listings are invitations to place an order, not binding offers from us. You can review and correct the items, quantities, variants and address details in your basket and at checkout before placing an order. When you activate the final order or payment button clearly indicating the obligation to pay, you submit a binding offer to purchase the displayed products at the stated total price.
For bank transfers, the order is recorded in the shop. If the shop immediately displays an order confirmation with an order number, total amount and bank transfer details, this constitutes acceptance of your offer. With PayPal or Stripe, payment is processed by the respective payment provider; we accept your offer by electronic order confirmation or other unambiguous confirmation of the order. A purely technical acknowledgement of receipt or redirection does not by itself constitute acceptance. Where technically possible, we also acknowledge receipt of the order by email.
The contract language is German. The English shop interface and translations of our legal documents are provided to make the information easier to understand. The German version forms the basis of the contractual terms, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights that cannot legally be excluded. We store contractual information as required by law, but it is not available through a general customer account. You can view and save the terms before ordering.
Custom-made products are initially requested separately without obligation. Following review, we may provide a separate quotation and payment option.
3. Prices, Small-Business VAT Treatment and Shipping
All prices are shown in euros. Under the German small-business rule in section 19 of the German VAT Act (UStG), VAT is not separately charged or shown. Before you place an order, the shop displays the item subtotal, applicable shipping costs and total amount.
Shipping charges and available destinations are shown on the shipping page and confirmed specifically at checkout. Delivery to a country is offered only where that country is enabled in the ordering process.
4. Payment Methods
You may choose from the payment methods actually enabled for your order at checkout: bank transfer (payment in advance), PayPal and, where available, card payment via Stripe. Checkout displays which payment methods are currently available before you place the order.
For bank transfers, the bank details and payment reference are shown after ordering and, where technically possible, sent by email. Please use the order number as the payment reference. Production and dispatch normally begin only after payment has been confirmed.
For PayPal or Stripe, payment is processed through the respective external provider. Transaction data necessary to process the payment is sent to that provider. We do not store full payment-card details. Payment is regarded as confirmed only after its status has been verified. The payment method and total amount are shown before the binding order is placed.
5. Production and Delivery
Some products are manufactured using 3D printing only after an order is placed. The delivery period stated for the product or order and the information on the shipping page apply. We will inform you promptly of delivery difficulties; your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Products are delivered to the address entered at checkout. Please check the address before placing your order. Deliveries outside the European Union may incur customs charges, import taxes or other fees in the destination country, which may have to be paid by the recipient. See our shipping information for details.
6. Retention of Title
The goods remain our property until full payment has been received.
7. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers generally have a statutory right to withdraw. Details and a model withdrawal form are provided in the separate withdrawal policy (/en/legal/withdrawal). Withdrawal can also be submitted using the clearly accessible online withdrawal function (/en/withdraw).
Important for 3D-printed products: Producing a regular item only after it is ordered or selecting one of its standard variants does not automatically exclude the right of withdrawal. A statutory exception may apply, in particular, to goods genuinely made to an individual customer's specifications or clearly personalised for that customer (section 312g(2), no. 1 BGB). Whether an exception applies depends on the statutory criteria in the individual case.
8. Statutory Warranty and Damage in Transit
Statutory rights relating to defects apply. Please report visible damage in transit to the carrier and to us where possible. Failure to report such damage does not affect your statutory rights.
9. Liability
We are liable in accordance with statutory provisions. The statutory rules apply without restriction to injury to life, body or health and to intentional acts and gross negligence.
10. Contractual Records and Invoices
Order and invoice information is stored in accordance with statutory retention requirements. You receive an electronic order confirmation. Once payment is confirmed, an invoice is created as a PDF and sent electronically. There is currently no general customer account providing access to order history.
11. Data Protection
Details of how we process personal data are available in our privacy policy (/en/legal/privacy).
12. Final Provisions
The statutory rules governing applicable law and jurisdiction apply to consumers. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions remain unaffected.
